Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
Today’s topic is: What do you order from your local Chinese restaurant? Do you order it every time or mix things up?
And remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have come up with. You can find their works here!

This week we take a departure from writing related content to discuss the really important things. What we have when we order a Chinese takeaway. I’ll be honest I don’t have Chinese often, despite it being one of my favourite options for a take out. For one thing, it tends to be a bit more expensive than other options.
When I do eat Chinese whether it’s take out of at a restaurant, I tend to have similar things as I know what I like. Must haves include duck pancake rolls, beef in black bean sauce and an all time favourite – sweet and sour chicken balls. Some sort of chow mein is a must as is egg fried rice. And those prawn crackers they always give you, love those!
Good choices.

I only eat spring rolls occasionally, as I find Chinese food rather greasy and tend to feel a bit nauseous about an hour after eating any.

I do find, like many take aways, it can be hit and miss. If you find a good takeout, hold on to them!

I don’t think I’ve ever noticed a black bean sauce at our local Chinese restaurant. I’ll have to look for it next time! @samanthabwriter from

Roast duck breast, finely sliced cucumber and spring onion, plum sauce all in a chinese pancake roll, delicious!
