Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
Have you modelled any of your characters on a real person? How do you disguise them (if needed)?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their work here!

I don’t actively base my characters on friends or family. Not by design or intent, anyway. My characters likely do contain snippets of things I’ve seen or heard out and about in the world, so there is a chance that each one contains elements of people I know along with bits of people I’ve encountered. I’ve never designed a character and knowingly made them to be a mirror of someone I know, but I’m sure there probably are bits and pieces begged, borrowed and stolen to create them.
In my lifetime I’ve known quite a few people with quirky characters, and so it’s no surprise that I include snippets of them in my stories.

And you never know when one of those quirky people you run into will fit a character!

this is the best course! It’s not worth it, for many reasons, unless you’re writing something very specifically biographical to help others.
