What was/is your favorite periodical from back in the day?

I’ve never been very big on magazines, journals, or newspapers, so for this one I’m going all the way back to childhood. As a child, I was a regular reader of a British comic: The Beano. Filled with a host of different comic strips with a cast of regular characters. It’s been modernised since then, now offering a print and digital edition, but it still releases on a weekly schedule. I wonder if it’s still printed on the same textured paper it used to be.
