Your character comes across an old oil lamp which, when rubbed, frees an ancient and cranky genie. The genie grants only one wish, and it can’t benefit your character. The request can only affect one person. (No curing cancer worldwide.) What does your character wish for?

Wow, after the heavy topic last week, this one is tough. I suppose it would most likely be Selah who finds the lamp. I think it would be too difficult if Edison found the lamp as he would want to use it to help as many of his crew as possible. He would have a difficult time in narrowing it down to one single person to help and the manner in which he would help them.

I think if Selah had the genie lamp, I think she’d use it for the betterment of Crow. He struggles with anxiety, self-doubt and an all-consuming need to protect his crew. Selah would use the single wish to bring him peace and happiness, to prevent him from always worrying about things he cannot control.

There is only one other character that I can think of that would have a use for a single wish to benefit someone else. This person would use the wish to go back and stop the bullying and manipulation of their sister before it ever started. I cannot say too much more as this relates to an in-progress story I’m in the planning stages of, but I look forward to sharing more on this one with you all!
