Seeing how I’ve been pretty terrible at updating this blog when I first started it, I vowed when I started writing Chasing Shadows I’d turn this around. So with that in mind, here’s my sixth update for Chasing Shadows, or as I like to snappily title it Chasing Shadows – Update 6!

This week has been a massively productive week. I have added 4609 words to the book, with 2475 coming on Saturday and Sunday alone! I’ve had a really good week, progressing the story towards what I believed to be its conclusion. And that’s where things changed a little.

So I have mentioned that I’ve got ideas for how a potential sequel book might start. Talking with some author friends, I realised that these need not be two shorter books, around the 40,000 mark each. Instead I am working with the idea that the current book will actually be part 1, with the story ideas I have for a second book being part 2. The finish line is somewhat further away now than I first thought it was, but I am really excited to see where this book heads while enjoying the journey!
