Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
If you had to choose a new author name, what would it be?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their work here!

I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’d have any interest in “being someone else”. I don’t make enough sales or write enough books across enough different genres to justify keeping a different pen name for each. And, I’m quite fond of looking at a book I’ve written and seeing my name on it, so there is that.
Unless I could adopt a name like “Stephen King” and all the money that goes along with it…
No matter what name you use, it’s always great to see your book in print!

What PJ said! When I was talking about publishing my first book, my husband’s uncle — who did something noteworthy and became unintentionally famous — suggested I not put my name out there. He said “Never do anything noteworthy in your own name or you’ll have people–sometimes fans, sometimes enemies–on your front lawn at 3:00 am. Don’t volunteer for that.”So, I use a pen name, and I’m just as proud to see that name on my books as if it were my legal name…maybe more because my legal last name is hard to pronounce.
