Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
What is a tool that you would like to get to help you do your writing?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their works here!

This is something I’ve thought about and researched many times in the past. It’s called a Freewrite. Essentially, it’s an electronic typewriter with a small eInk screen that shows you just a few lines of text that you’ve written. It’s a word processor that has no apps or internet connection. You can’t listen to any music or watch YouTube on it, and there’s no facility to fall down the Google rabbit hole.
I’ve always wanted a true, mechanical typewriter, though truth be told, I’m not a fan of not being able to delete and retype any errors. One of these fantastic gadgets would be an incredible solution for my distracted nature, but they’re not cheap devices, so I’d better get saving!
I’ve never heard of a Freewrite. Thanks for sharing this, Steven.

I remember typewriters, the pain of finding a missing word or spelling mistake at the end of a page. And that correction fluid. Happy days.

I thought it was hot stuff when I got a typewriter that used correction tape!
