Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
Do you call yourself more of a philosopher or an entertainer?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their works here!

I don’t consider myself either, if I’m being honest. I don’t write for either purpose, and certainly don’t think of myself in such a way. I’ve mentioned on the blog before that my writing is born out of ideas for stories that I’d like to read myself. It’s nothing to do with deep thinking or a desire to entertain people. If people read my writing and enjoy it, but I write for me. If an idea strikes, then I have to go with it.
That’s an interesting answer. But if readers like the stories you write, then surely you are entertaining them?

This is true. I suppose from my perspective, I’ve not gone into any story with that as a driving factor, it’s purely for me. If they are entertained, that’s a win, and if they aren’t, I’m okay with that.

You’re an entertainer, Steven.

I suspect most of us write to tell the stories no one else has.

I definitely started writing stories I wanted to read. I stayed, or bothered to out them in print rather, to share. Hopefully others like them!
