Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
What is the best money you’ve ever spent your money on your writing endeavour? What is the worst?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their works here!

The worst is an easy one, I mentioned it a few OBBH’s back now. A few hundred pounds-worth of my book that contained a pretty serious formatting error. As for the best, I’ll probably say the first proof copy of my first book. It was the first time I saw my own writing in printed form. It boosted my confidence and gave me the drive to keep going. Even now, that first book gives me a boost when I see it on my shelf.
Holding your own book in your hand is a wonderful thing.

I second that emotion. A decade later, it’s still a thrill to open a box of my books.

Ugh. I had one like that recently. Bought 20 copies of an anthology I had a story in only to find that they had formatting issues. They’ve fixed the issues, but now I’ve got 20 badly formatted copies sitting around that I don’t want to put in front of an audience. Grrrrrr. @samanthabwriter from Balancing Act
