This one is tough, as I am a foodie at heart. Not for anything particularly fancy, I might add, but I do enjoy my food. Each type of meal has its merits and negatives. A breakfast of cereal or toast is fine, comforting even, but it’s no substitute for a tasty breakfast buffet of cold cuts of meat and cheeses, yoghurt with fruit, and cooked options. Then there’s lunch. A sandwich of some sort is fine, but a salad or soup, especially in winter, is a huge win. Then there’s dinner/main meal. Sunday roasts are a big thing in the UK, and I for one love them. There are plenty of other dishes I like – pasta is a huge favourite for me. I’d be hard pressed to choose a single favourite. And of course, I couldn’t neglect to mention Christmas dinner.
As someone with a significant sweet tooth, desserts and treats are a risky area for me, too. So I’d struggle to choose a perfect dinner; after all, variety makes things more fun when it comes to food!
I’ve never met a calorie I didn’t like, the problem comes when they decide to stick around.

I agree! Why can’t calories be good guests and leave at the appropriate time?

We leave out desserts as they tend to make us put on weight. Ditto the big breakfasts as well, but we do like a roast chicken dinner on a Sunday.
