Steven Smith
Steven has always been an avid reader, even from a young age. He quickly discovered a love for the works of Stephen King, the Harry Potter series and came a bit later than he should to the Discworld series. This love led to him creating a blog, reviewing the books he enjoyed. Making some great friends through this pursuit, he was encouraged to turn his hand to writing. Fuelled by coffee, he set about on this, with some stumbles, in 2019.
His debut novel, Chasing Shadows (The Chronicle of the Crows Book One), was released in April 2021. His second novel, As the Crow Flies (The Chronicle of the Crows Book One), was released in February 2024. Book one has received positive feedback including numerous 4 and 5-star reviews from readers. Book two has received two early 5-star reviews. Steven is currently working on the third book in the series along, A Murder of Crows, a festive serial killer novel titled The Twelve Days of Christmas, and a collection of flash fiction and short stories, A Flash in the Dark.
When not at work or creating his own worlds, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and cats, heading off on holiday, playing video games, and building more LEGO sets he doesn’t have space for.
