Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
How many of your own graphics do you do? Does anyone help you with them?
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their works here!

My marketing process is immensely lacking. I’m that indie author who sits in a dark corner and hopes someone will just find his books and like them. I don’t enjoy marketing because I don’t like the feeling that you’re fishing for sales. That said, I do from time to time make marketing graphics. I wanted to create a logo for myself as an author, which I achieved with the help of my wife. I wanted something clean and simple, which I think I ended up with. I used Canva to create it, combining fonts, graphic elements and a stunning colour gradient that I really love. Since then, I’ve included this logo in all of my marketing. I also use the same colour gradient where I can.
There are a few exceptions – if I’m making a graphic for something seasonal, then I might use different colour schemes, patterns or designs that tell a story. I enjoy playing in Canva and creating materials, even if I don’t enjoy marketing.
