Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!
Today’s topic is: Write a letter to your readers.
Remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have created. You can find their works here!

To my readers – Thank you. If nobody read my books, I’d be shouting into the storm. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still write my books and my stories because I enjoy it. Getting ideas is like seeing film fragments playing out in my mind. They often run on repeat. But they’re often incomplete. So my enjoyment comes from writing them down and seeing them develop into something more.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t want those stories out in the world, to be read. And when I hear from people who have read my books and enjoyed them, that makes the process worth all the work. Getting feedback from friends and family is amazing, seeing how they found my work.
And seeing a review online from a complete stranger who took a chance to buy my books is pretty special. Even the many people who downloaded my books when they were on offer or free in the run-up to Christmas. You made a decision to add my books to your Kindles and e-readers. I thank you all for that. And I’d love it if you’d consider leaving me a review on Amazon, GoodReads or anywhere else. Just a star rating and a single line is more than enough. For myself and the many, far more talented authors than myself, reviews are what helps us get seen.
Thanks!
Yes, any review is a bonus.

I think too many people assume a review needs to be long and detailed. Even just a 4 Stars – really enjoyed this book would be a big win.

Complete strangers liking what you’ve created is wonderful.

The first time I checked on reviews and found one from someone that I had no idea who they were (not a friend/family/colleague; no one I had approached and directly asked), I did the happiest little dance. @samanthabwriter from Balancing Act

We, as authors, are really easy to make happy! A good review will make our day!

At this point, I’d take a mediocre review!
