Open Book Blog Hop – Childhood favourites

Welcome back to another Open Book Blog Hop!

Today’s topic is: If you were a beloved children’s character, which one would you be?

And remember to visit my fellow writers to see what they have come up with. You can find their works here!

This one is a bit of a gimme for anyone that knows me well. The Nightmare Before Christmas has been my favourite film since childhood. Aside from the stunning animation, the character of Jack Skellington really appealed to me. For one, he embodies Halloween, one of my favourite times of the year. His child like wonder and amazement when discovering Christmas is so pure. Christmas is my other favourite time of year. I love everything about the season. I totally understand his feelings.
