Today’s topic is: If you were a muppet, what would you look like? Are you a person, monster, animal, or something else?

This one’s a quirkier subject for an Open Book Blog Hop. I honestly wouldn’t want to say what I’d look like as a muppet. I guess if I was going to be somewhat unoriginal I’d go with the muppet that played the Ghost of Christmas Present in The Muppet Christmas Carol. A human figure with a big bushy beard.

I’m going to stretch it out and talk about some of my favourite Muppet characters. Sure Kermit and Piggy are classics, but I’d say they are too predictable. I love Fozzie Bear and Gonzo. Both are fantastic characters but I actually think Statler and Waldorf take the win for me. Grouchy, sarcastic and in need of sleep – I love those guys.
